I have been taking photographs since 1981 when I asked for and received a Zenit SLR camera for my sixteenth birthday. A very basic camera without any through the lens metering meant that I had to learn how to set for the light and at times take a guess.

As I developed my understanding I upgraded my camera and continued to look for the good shots.

The arrival of digital technology increased my level of enthusiasm as, for the first time, I became interested in the processing side. Using Photoshop Elements I was able to produce better pictures and began spend more time out taking images.

In 2011 I started to work in and around the local music scene in Weston-super-Mare and through this built a strong portfolio of live music shots. Through making new contacts I found opportunities to move into wedding and portrait work.

I always look out for opportunities for new projects and to work with others on events such as Westons Top Model and Hazy Days Festival as well as learning to capture product shots for businesses.

Moving forward I am now looking to combine working part time with taking on more photography work. If you would like to discuss your wedding, family portraits or any specific projects please get in touch.
